Have you ever noticed that some people never have a problem dog? No matter what breed of puppy they get, it becomes well behaved and calm. And then there are others that have the same ditzy, crazy uncontrollable animal no matter what the breed.

There is a reason for this: the expectations and attitude of the owner.

If you treat an animal with no respect and as though it’s slightly stupid and hard of hearing, pretty soon it begins to act slightly stupid and hard of hearing. If you expect it to be out of control, it will soon oblige you.

It’s a known scientific fact that children’s behavior can be affected by our attitudes toward them and I guarantee you, animals react the same way. Be a good role model and act calmly and be in control. Expect good behavior and respect and you may be surprised at the results.
